The Poem is unknown to the poet.

Entering again, a cavernous mind
dapples the pond's scrim: horses
whinny, bison moan as the spear
thrills in their heartmeat.

Where a word's wound drips
to ensanguined earth, a new
lexicon is conceived.

Musing at the entrance,
the god's song remains
too dangerous to recall.
