Dear Regina:

Another word for interdependency is entanglement, a lovely term that describes particles in their quantum state that part but don’t lose touch, no matter where in the universe they may go. Last night I dreamed that although I pointed the camera in every direction, all the pictures had, a physicist would say, “matching correlations.” Today you sent me a photograph and wrote, “Here is Forest Park in Rio.”
