A scree of refuse was rolled down to rot under this sun Descartes
created litter…he made
the
world
dead, soulless, with a warm refrigerator door, a
big fat rimless tire, thick slabs
of
broken
concrete,
and a dry water pipe running through summer's thirsty weeds.
Garbage
has to be
the poem
of our time because garbage is
spiritual, believable.
