Long florid arms lean in, barring my way. With each step
the danger is clear in the hardships of facing the forking
paths of this epoch, "in the context of apocalyptic logic."

Life is shapely, with a cunning glare toward reproducing
every seed of being.
Not force, but figure. Not a void, but
roots that withered, even as the human brain blossomed.
